True Energy Hires Marketing Manager

True Energy has added Nina Kristine Toft-Nielsen to its team as marketing manager. Among other things, she will be responsible for the company’s interactions with influencers and users via social media.

Close contact with users via, among other channels, social media platforms is a key focus area for True Energy, a Landis+Gyr company.

These initiatives are further boosted through the hiring of Nina Kristine Toft-Nielsen. Nina Kristine Toft-Nielsen has expertise in social media and online communication from, among others, public organisations and her time as a campaign coordinator responsible for overseeing and managing influencer projects and campaigns for the Danish online company Blogger’s Delight.

Nina Nina Kristine Toft-NielsenToft-Nielsen joins True Energy as the company’s marketing manager and will, among other things, be responsible for managing True Energy’s social media communities. In addition, she will be in charge of the company’s interactions and collaborations with influencers.

“I am passionate about the green transition and sustainability. That passion perfectly matches True Energy’s focus on and solutions for automatic, intelligent electricity consumption, making it easy and cheap to integrate climate focus with your electricity consumption. We have a lot of momentum on a large number of new projects, and I look forward to being a part of that,” Nina Kristine Toft-Nielsen says.

Charlotte Blou Sand, founder and CEO of True Energy, says:

“We are delighted to have hired Nina Toft-Nielsen. Her abilities, experience and skillset, including, among other things, running influencer campaigns, fit really well with our company and values. We are not afraid to take the lead and think differently – and I think we can safely call ourselves one of Denmark’s first energy and technology companies, which is actively involved in developing collaborations with influencers.”

Revving Up Green Energy

Recently, True Energy’s Tesla 3 donned a distinct green colour and was outfitted with True Energy’s company logo. The next step for what might be Denmark’s greenest Tesla includes inviting select online influencers to trial the vehicle. In this context, True Energy’s focus has been on developing collaborations with many different types of influencers.

“We are not just aiming for the most famous. The chemistry has to fit, and there must be a clear connection with True Energy’s green DNA and values. At the same time, we are looking for great ideas and unique angles that can be transferred to and used by existing and future electric car owners – for example, by showing how easy it is to make a big positive difference for the climate and the consumers’ finances via our App,” Nina Kristine Toft- Nielsen explains and continues:

“By using influencers with dedicated followers as collaborators, we hope, among other things, to increase awareness of the role that balancing the electricity grid plays for the green transition of our electricity consumption. This is an area that is complex and difficult to explain – which is why it makes sense to collaborate with influencers who are skilled at communicating and therefore can make SmartCharge and load balancing understandable for even more consumers and electric car owners.”

True Energy is currently in contact with and looking to build out collaborations with influencers who focus on electric vehicles’ ability to save money and others with a stronger focus on the climate benefits of EVs. Others again are car enthusiasts considering buying their own EV.

“We have ambitious goals for electric vehicles in Scandinavia, including in Denmark. By the end of the decade, there should be a million EVs on the Danish roads. Reaching those goals requires more focus on all the benefits and opportunities that EVs offer. If I have to send a little jab to the energy and mobility industry, we also have to be more innovative when engaging and communicating with consumers about the importance of electrification for the green transition. Our input is a strong focus on two-way communication through our community and seeking out target audiences where they are – including on social media, ” Charlotte Blou Sand says.
