Nordic climate tech app company is looking for a Nordic Sales Manager to drive sales and partner growth throughout the region.

Everything is controlled through our app, which enjoys success in multiple markets, including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and The Faroe Islands. 

True Energy is an independent part of Landis + Gyr, a leading global provider of electricity meters and integrated energy management solutions to the utility sector, with revenues exceeding a billion dollars.

We are looking to add a Nordic Sales Manager to continue our growth trajectory in the region. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, independent, innovative, and comfortable with trying new things.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new sales target accounts and engaging them
  • Signing up new partners in the True Energy app
  • Promoting True Energy’s Managed API solution
  • Supporting existing partners 
  • Activating existing partners through marketing activities supported by True Energy
  • Initiate and drive new partnerships and educate key stakeholders 
  • Participate in expos and activities 
  • Research and analyze the market and the users
  • Conduct industry and competitor analysis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in the energy business
  • Documented energy business sales experience (power sales, charge box solutions, energy savings or similar) 
  • A solid network in the Nordic energy industry is an advantage
  • Good understanding of the energy structures in the region
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Proven project management track record

About the candidate:

A strong understanding of the energy industry and an existing regional network are preferable. We seek a profile with experience in or a passion for EVs – smart charge functionality and flexibility solutions as well as fleet management. Owning an electric car – or planning to buy one – is a significant advantage. 

Your core KPI is signing up new partners and helping them succeed in making True Energy the preferred app within smart charge and frequency regulation. 

As a Nordic Sales Manager, you should possess good commercial awareness and strong business acumen. You will be conducting high-level negotiations, strategizing on business models and responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a broad client base across the Nordic region. You will work independently and collaboratively with other team members to further boost commercial success and increase sales.

The Nordic Sales Manager will drive True Energy activities in the region, supported by our Danish organization. You will refer to our CCO.
