Important Update – True Energy Service Discontinuation 

As part of Landis+Gyr’s strategic realignment, we are announcing that True Energy will be discontinuing its services. This decision is a result of Landis+Gyr’s broader business strategy to exit the EV charging space.

As a result, the True Energy app and its smart charging features will no longer be available from September 30th, 2025.

Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to provide innovative smart charging solutions and help drivers optimize their EV charging to benefit both their wallets and the environment.

While we are proud of the work we have done, this decision aligns with a shift in priorities within the larger Landis+Gyr group.

The growth of the EV market, particularly in the US, has not developed at the pace we had anticipated, and as such, we have made the difficult decision to wind down True Energy’s operations. 

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have supported us on this journey.
Your trust in True Energy, as well as your dedication to making smarter energy choices, has been invaluable.  

Though we are closing this chapter, we firmly believe that our contributions will continue to shape how energy is used and understood for years to come. 

The True Energy app will remain fully functional until September 30th, 2025, so please ensure that you download any important account data before this date. If you have any questions or concerns, our support team remains available at support@trueenergy.io to assist you during this transition.
