The end of the year is a great time for family and friends to pause for a while and reflect. For True Energy, 2023 was a year of significant strides in intelligent energy and mobility solutions.
One highlight was our successful expansion of direct integrations to more electric vehicles (EVs). We now offer direct integration to all the world’s most popular EVs, and more direct integrations are coming. Everyone can use our solutions for intelligent energy, but direct integrations make it even easier for EV owners to use our smart charge app that automatically charges your vehicle when energy is cheapest and most climate-friendly. This effort generates savings for EV owners and contributes to a more sustainable future.
Another milestone was the further development of our solutions for the energy industry. For example, we have significantly progressed in supporting load shifting and grid frequency balancing. These advancements ease the burden on existing infrastructure and support utilities’ efforts in a faster transition to more sustainable energy production.
As we turn our gaze to 2024, we are excited about electric energy solutions’ growing digitisation and reach.
One notable area that will likely be at the top of our minds in 2024 is the importance of microgrids and closed grids. These decentralised energy systems can provide resilience and sustainability and increasingly depend on flexible consumption. Our solutions match perfectly, and we look forward to further exploring the opportunities in this area.
Utilities, power companies, EV producers, and private customers find themselves in a world where growing digitisation, AI solutions, and fluctuating energy prices present unique challenges and new opportunities. Without revealing too much, one of True Energy’s maxims for 2024 is simplifying complexity and maximising opportunities.
