True Energy has added extra forces to support rapid partnership growth. René Frederiksen, who has extensive experience from the energy industry and strategic partnerships, is the new COO.
The partner list continues to grow at a rapid pace for True Energy. To further strengthen synergy and support growth for both True Energy and its partner companies, the energy startup has hired a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
New COO René Frederiksen has extensive experience from the energy industry, including building strategic partnerships – both in Denmark and internationally. At True Energy, he will primarily be responsible for partnerships and market development.
“The energy industry is changing. New innovative solutions like True Energy’s will revolutionise the industry. Customers are offered new, intelligent solutions that benefit both the green transition and their economy. We are also helping to create balance in the electricity grid through handling flexibility, which, due to increased electrification throughout our societies, will be one of the major challenges in the coming years. I am very much looking forward to helping shape that future,” René Frederiksen says.
Continued Partner Growth
True Energy’s list of partner companies throughout the energy industry grew by more than 300% over the last 12 months. The partner expansion has been international, and today includes top energy companies in Denmark, Norway and Germany.
The Danish startup is working on several possible further partnerships and expects to announce several new initiatives before or during the spring of 2021.
The innovative solutions for charging electric cars, integration with many charge boxes, and ongoing work with the integration of smart homes and solar cells help make True Energy an attractive partner. To ensure the best collaboration, build on synergies, and take advantage of the many opportunities for rapid innovation, René Frederiksen’s tasks will include market development and sparring with partners about existing and future True Energy solutions.
“I have previously sat on the other side of the table at larger energy companies, and can therefore recognise the many opportunities that True Energy offers. Innovation at the speed that we can supply to our partners is unique and leads to many opportunities. Among other things, this is the conversation I am going to drive with our existing and future partners, ”says René Frederiksen.
